Welcome to the All American Newsletter * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * ISSUE #35 – August 1, 2007 "CRUSHING" THE COMPETITION The mare CD's Girl had something to brag about this week as two of her daughters captured New York Sire Stakes legs in impressive fashion. Her first foal, the now three year old, Paula's Best blazed to a new track record at Vernon Downs, scoring in 1:51.2. That is now the third track Paula's Best has set the standard at. The defending New York Sire Stakes champion, was a 3 length victor for driver Eric Goddell, trainer Ross Croghan, and owner Lawrence Roman. Her little sister, Allamerican Celeb, put away all challengers in a hard fought sire stakes score at Monticello Raceway, stopping the timer in 1:57.2. It was Allamerican Celeb's third win from four starts. Stephane Bouchard drove for winning trainer Ed Hart. The other New York Sire Stakes fillies will get a brief respite from progeny of CD's Girl, as her 2006 foal, Allamerican Crush, is a Pennsylvania eligible. She will be featured at the 2007 New Jersey Classic Yearling Sale and is arguable a better physical specimen than her two older sisters. NEW JERSEY CLASSIC The 2007 New Jersey Classic is fast approaching and All American Harnessbreds is looking forward to their first appearance. Catalogues are soon to be available and pedigree pages are now available on the sale website.
